Rooted here, ready to serve

A Commissioner for community

I am running to be a problem-solver, a bridge-builder, and a voice for our community.

What I've seen working for nearly three decades across city government, state government, the nonprofit sector, and private business, is that the systems meant to serve our community are not always talking to each other. People and opportunities fall through the gaps; not because nobody cares, but because the county, the city, and the state are often operating in silos. That is something I have witnessed firsthand from the inside of those systems. I believe it is the defining challenge facing District 2 right now. In an environment where money keeps getting tighter, we must walk the talk and leverage each other's strengths, resources, and opportunities.

My Story

My story starts right here in Northeast Portland. From neighborhood schools and local ballfields to years of service, coaching, and showing up for the people around me, my path has always been shaped by community. I bring a neighbor’s care, a coach’s steady encouragement, and a deep belief that public service should be personal, practical, and rooted in listening. District 2 is more than a campaign target or message—it’s the place, people, and everyday experiences that shaped who I am and why I serve.
